And mention thou in the Book Musa: verily he was single-hearted, and was an apostle, prophet. 51 We called him from the right side of the Mount, and brought him close for communion; 52 And bestowed on him his brother Aaron, a prophet, through Our benevolence. 53 And mention thou in the Book lsma'il; verily he was true in promise, and was apostle, prophet. 54 He would order his people to worship God and pay the religious tax. His Lord was pleased with him. 55 And remember Idrees in the Book; he was indeed very truthful, a Prophet. 56 We granted him a high position. 57 These are the Prophets upon whom Allah bestowed His favour from the seed of Adam, and from the seed of those whom We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and from the seed of Abraham and Israel. They were those whom We guided and chose (for an exalted position). They were such that when the words of the Most Compassionate Lord were recited to them, they fell down in prostration, weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ Then there succeeded them a posterity who neglected the prayers and followed lusts; so presently they shall meet with perdition. 59 Excepting those who may repent and believe and work righteously; these shall enter the Garden and shall not be wronged at all 60 [theirs will be the] gardens of perpetual bliss which the Most Gracious has promised unto His servants, in a realm which is beyond the reach of human perception: [and,] verily, His promise is ever sure of fulfilment! 61 They will not there hear any vain discourse, but only salutations of Peace: And they will have therein their sustenance, morning and evening. 62 Such is the Paradise which We shall cause those of Our servants who have been God-fearing to inherit. 63 And we do not descend but by the command of your Lord; to Him belongs whatever is before us and whatever is behind us and whatever is between these, and your Lord is not forgetful. 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that which is betwixt the twain; so Him worship thou, and endure patiently in His worship; knowest thou any as His compeer? 65
