And mention Musa in the Book; surely he was one purified, and he was an apostle, a prophet. 51 We called him from the right slope of the Mount, and brought him nigh in communion. 52 and out of Our mercy We appointed his brother Aaron, a Prophet (that he may assist him). 53 Tell also of Ishmael in the Book. He was true to his promise and was a messenger and a prophet. 54 who used to enjoin upon his people prayer and charity, and found favour in his Sustainer's sight. 55 And mention in the Book, Idris; he too was of the truth and a Prophet, 56 We raised him to a high position. 57 These are they whom Allah hath favoured, from among the prophets, of the progeny of Adam and of them whom We bore with Nuh, and of the progeny of Ibrahim and Isra'il, and of those whom We have guided and chosen; whenever the revelations of the Compassionate were rehearsed unto them, they fell down prostrating themselves and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ But the generation that succeeded them wasted their prayers and followed their desires, so they shall encounter error 59 Except those who repent and believe (in the Oneness of Allah and His Messenger Muhammad SAW), and work righteousness. Such will enter Paradise and they will not be wronged in aught. 60 Theirs shall be everlasting Gardens which the Most Compassionate Lord has promised His servants in a realm which is beyond the ken of perception. Surely His promise shall he fulfilled. 61 They will not hear therein any meaningless words. They will be greeted (by the angels) with "Peace be with you," and they will receive their sustenance both in the mornings and evenings. 62 That is Paradise, which We give as inheritance to those of Our servants who were fearing of Allah. 63 (Gabriel said:) 'We do not descend except at the command of your Lord. To Him belongs all that is before us and all that is behind us, and all that lies between. Your Lord does not forget. 64 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them! Worship, then, Him alone, and remain steadfast in His worship! Dost thou know any whose name is worthy to be mentioned side by side with His?" 65
