And mention thou in the Book Musa: verily he was single-hearted, and was an apostle, prophet. 51 We called out to him from the right side of the mountain, and drew him near in (Divine) conversation. 52 And bestowed on him his brother Aaron, a prophet, through Our benevolence. 53 Commemorate Ishmael in the Book. He was true of his promise, and a messenger, a prophet. 54 And he was wont to command his household to the prayer and the poor-rate, and he was with his Lord an approved one. 55 And mention Idris in the Book; surely he was a truthful man, a prophet, 56 We granted him a high position. 57 These are they whom God has blessed among the Prophets of the seed of Adam, and of those We bore with Noah, and of the seed of Abraham and Israel, and of those We guided and chose. When the signs of the All-merciful were recited to them, they fell down prostrate, weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ They were succeeded by a generation who neglected their prayers and followed their worldly desires. They will certainly be lost, 59 Excepted, however, shall be those who repent and attain to faith and do righteous deeds: for it is they who will enter paradise and will not be wronged in any way: 60 Gardens of Eden that the All-merciful promised His servants in the Unseen; His promise is ever performed. 61 They shall not hear therein any vain word, but they shall hear only peace; and therein they shall have their provision morning and evening. 62 This is the garden which We cause those of Our servants to inherit who guard (against evil). 63 [Gabriel said], "And we [angels] descend not except by the order of your Lord. To Him belongs that before us and that behind us and what is in between. And never is your Lord forgetful - 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them! Therefor, worship thou Him and be thou steadfast in His service. Knowest thou one that can be named along with Him? 65
