And mention Musa in the Book; surely he was one purified, and he was an apostle, a prophet. 51 And We called him from the right side of the Mount, and made him draw near to Us for a talk with him [Musa (Moses)]. 52 And We gave him his brother Aaron, of Our mercy, a Prophet. 53 And mention in the Book, Ishmael. Indeed, he was true to his promise, and he was a messenger and a prophet. 54 He enjoined upon his people worship and almsgiving, and was acceptable in the sight of his Lord. 55 And mention Idris in the Book; surely he was a truthful man, a prophet, 56 And We raised him high in Heaven. 57 These are whom Allah has blessed among the Prophets from among the seed of Adam and of those whom We bore with Noah; the descendants ofAbraham, of Israel, and of those whom We have guided and chose. For when the verses of the Merciful were recited to them, they fell down prostrate, weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ But the generation that succeeded them wasted their prayers and followed their desires, so they shall encounter error 59 Except those who repent and believe (in the Oneness of Allah and His Messenger Muhammad SAW), and work righteousness. Such will enter Paradise and they will not be wronged in aught. 60 (They shall enter the) Gardens of Eden, which the Merciful has promised His worshipers in the Unseen. Indeed, His promise shall come. 61 They shall not hear therein any vain word, but they shall hear only peace; and therein they shall have their provision morning and evening. 62 Such is the Garden which We cause the devout among Our bondmen to inherit. 63 We never descend except at your Lord's command. What is before us and behind us and all that lies between belong to Him. Your Lord is not forgetful. 64 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between. Serve Him, then, and be constant in serving Him. Do you know anyone that might be His compeer?" 65
