And remember Moosa in the Book; he was indeed a chosen one, and he was a Noble Messenger, a Herald of the Hidden. 51 We called out to him from the right side of the mount and made him draw near to be in close communion with Us; 52 And We gave him out of Our mercy his brother Aaron as a prophet. 53 Tell also of Ishmael in the Book. He was true to his promise and was a messenger and a prophet. 54 He used to command his people to offer prayer and give charity, and was liked by his Lord. 55 AND CALL to mind, through this divine writ, Idris. Behold, he was a man of truth, a prophet, 56 and We exalted him to a lofty position. 57 THESE WERE some of the prophets upon whom God bestowed His blessings - [prophets] of the seed of Adam and of those whom We caused to be borne [in the ark] with Noah, and of the seed of Abraham and Israel and [all of them were] among those whom We had guided and elected; [and] whenever the messages of the Most Gracious were conveyed unto them, they would fall down [before Him,] prostrating themselves and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ They were succeeded by a generation who neglected their prayers and followed their worldly desires. They will certainly be lost, 59 Except those who repented and accepted faith and did good deeds – so these will enter heaven, and they will not be deprived* in the least. (* Of their due reward.) 60 (They shall enter the) Gardens of Eden, which the Merciful has promised His worshipers in the Unseen. Indeed, His promise shall come. 61 They will not hear therein anything vain, only greetings of peace. They will receive their provision there morning and evening. 62 That is the Garden which We will grant to those of Our servants who have been God-fearing. 63 (Muhammad), we (the angels) do not come to you without being commanded by your Lord to do so. To Him belongs all that is before us, behind us, and in between. Your Lord is not forgetful. 64 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them! Worship, then, Him alone, and remain steadfast in His worship! Dost thou know any whose name is worthy to be mentioned side by side with His?" 65
