Man asks, "When I am once dead, shall I be raised to life?" 66 But does man not remember that We created him when he was nothing before? 67 So by your Lord! We will most certainly gather them together and the Shaitans, then shall We certainly cause them to be present round hell on their knees. 68 We shall then pick out from every group the one who was most arrogant towards the Most Gracious. 69 Again We do certainly know best those who deserve most to be burned therein. 70 There is not one among you who will not reach it. Your Lord has made this incumbent on Himself. 71 Then We shall deliver those that were godfearing; and the evildoers We shall leave there, hobbling on their knees. 72 And when Our manifest revelations are rehearsed unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: which of the two portions is better in station and goodlier in company? 73 And how many of the generations have We destroyed before them who were better in respect of goods and outward appearance! 74 Say: "The Most Compassionate Lord grants respite to those who stray into error, until they behold what they had been threatened with, either God's chastisement (in the world) or the Hour (of Resurrection)" - then they fully know whose station is worse, and who is weaker in hosts! 75 God further enlightens those who seek guidance. To those who do charitable deeds which produce continuing benefits, your Lord will give a better reward and a better place in Paradise. 76 Have you seen him who denies Our revelations, and says: "I will certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Has he, perchance, attained to a realm which is beyond the reach of a created being's perception? or has he concluded a covenant with the Most Gracious? 78 No, indeed! We shall assuredly write down all that he says, and We shall prolong for him the chastisement; 79 All that he speaks of will belong to Us, and he will come into Our presence all alone. 80 And they have chosen (other) gods beside Allah that they may be a power for them. 81 No, indeed! They shall deny their service, and they shall be against them pitted. 82
