And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We will gather them and the satans, and We shall parade them hobbling on their knees in Gehenna: 68 Then We will most certainly draw forth from every sect of them him who is most exorbitantly rebellious against the Beneficent Allah. 69 We surely know best those most deserving of the fires of hell, 70 And there is not one of you but shall come to it; this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord. 71 Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees. 72 And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Which of [our] two parties is best in position and best in association?" 73 And how many a generation We destroyed before them, who were fairer in furnishing and outward show! 74 Say, "The Gracious One grants respite for a time to those who are in error until, when they are confronted with what they are promised, either in punishment [in the world] or in [the approach of] the Hour, they will realize who is worse in respect of position and who is weaker in resources." 75 And God endows those who avail themselves of [His] guidance with an ever-deeper consciousness of the right way; and good deeds, the fruit whereof endures forever, are, in thy Sustainer's sight, of far greater merit [than any worldly goods,] and yield far better returns. 76 Hast thou seen him who disbelieves in Our signs and says, 'Assuredly I shall be given wealth and children'? 77 Has he, perchance, attained to a realm which is beyond the reach of a created being's perception? or has he concluded a covenant with the Most Gracious? 78 No, indeed! We shall assuredly write down all that he says, and We shall prolong for him the chastisement; 79 And We will inherit him [in] what he mentions, and he will come to Us alone. 80 They have taken other deities besides God, so that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 Indeed no! They will renounce their worship and turn against them. 82
