And says man: What! when I am dead shall I truly be brought forth alive? 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 And so, by thy Sustainer, [on Judgment Day] We shall most certainly bring them forth together with the satanic forces [which impelled them in life] and then We shall most certainly gather them, on their knees, around hell; 68 Then We shall carry off from every group those who were most stubborn in their opposition to the Gracious One, 69 then We shall know very well those most deserving to burn there. 70 And there is none among you who shall not pass over hell; this is an obligatory affair, binding upon your Lord. (Allah will make everyone pass over the back of hell – on a thin bridge.) 71 We will save the pious ones from the hell fire and leave the unjust people therein in crowded groups. 72 AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: "Which of the two kinds of man is in a stronger position and superior as a community?" 73 How many a generation have We destroyed before them, who were more imposing in respect of gear and outward seeming! 74 Say: As for him who is in error, the Beneficent will verily prolong his span of life until, when they behold that which they were promised, whether it be punishment (in the world), or the Hour (of doom), they will know who is worse in position and who is weaker as an army. 75 Allah increaseth in right guidance those who walk aright, and the good deeds which endure are better in thy Lord's sight for reward, and better for resort. 76 Hast thou seen him who disbelieveth in Our revelations and saith: Assuredly I shall be given wealth and children? 77 Has he obtained knowledge of the Unseen, or has he taken a covenant with the Most Compassionate Lord? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall lengthen the length of his suffering [in the hereafter,] 79 We shall inherit all that he boasts of, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 And they have taken to them other gods apart from God, that they might be for them a might. 81 Never. They will deny their devotion and become their adversaries. 82
