Man asks, "When I am once dead, shall I be raised to life?" 66 But does man not bear in mind that We have created him aforetime out of nothing? 67 By your Lord, We shall gather them and the devils together, then bring them crawling on their knees around Hell. 68 We shall then pick out from every group the one who was most arrogant towards the Most Gracious. 69 We know best who deserves greater suffering in hell fire. 70 There is not one of you who shall not go down to it: such is a thing decreed, determined by your Lord. 71 We shall deliver those who took heed for themselves, and leave the evil-doers kneeling there. 72 AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: "Which of the two kinds of man is in a stronger position and superior as a community?" 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance? 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the All-merciful prolong his term for him! Till, when they see that they were threatened, whether the chastisement, or the Hour, then they shall surely know who is worse in place, and who is weaker in hosts.' 75 And Allah increaseth in guidance those who let themselves be guided, and the righteous works that last are excellent with thy Lord in respect of reward and excellent in respect of return. 76 Hast thou observed him who disbelieveth in Our signs and saith: surely I shall be vouchsafed riches and children. 77 Hath he looked unto the Unseen, or hath he taken of the Compassionate a covenant? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall add and add to his punishment. 79 and We shall inherit all the resources and hosts of which he boasts, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 Never. They will deny their devotion and become their adversaries. 82
