And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 Now, by thy Lord, We shall surely muster them, and the Satans, then We shall parade them about Gehenna hobbling on their knees. 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 Then surely it is We who are the Best Knower of these worthiest of being therein roasted. 70 There is not one among you who will not reach it. Your Lord has made this incumbent on Himself. 71 We will save the pious ones from the hell fire and leave the unjust people therein in crowded groups. 72 And when Our clear revelations are recited unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Which of the two parties (yours or ours) is better in position, and more imposing as an army? 73 And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance? 74 Say: "Ar-Rahman extends the life of those who are astray until they come to realise what had been promised them was either (physical) affliction or (the terror) of Resurrection. Then will they know who is worse in position, and who is weak in supporters. 75 And God shall increase those who were guided in guidance; and the abiding things, the deeds of righteousness, are better with thy Lord in reward, and better in return 76 So have you seen him who denied Our signs and says, “I shall certainly be given wealth and children?” 77 Hath he perused the Unseen, or hath he made a pact with the Beneficent? 78 Indeed not. We shall record what he says and shall prolong the punishment for him. 79 To Us shall return all that he talks of and he shall appear before Us bare and alone. 80 And they have taken gods besides Allah, that they should be to them a source of strength; 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worship and shall become their adversaries instead. 82
