And says man, “When I am dead, will I soon be brought forth alive?” 66 But does man not bear in mind that We have created him aforetime out of nothing? 67 So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell; 68 Thereafter, We shall surely draw aside, from each sect, whichever of them against the Compassionate were most in excess. 69 Again We do certainly know best those who deserve most to be burned therein. 70 And there is none among you who shall not pass over hell; this is an obligatory affair, binding upon your Lord. (Allah will make everyone pass over the back of hell – on a thin bridge.) 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 And how many of the generations have We destroyed before them who were better in respect of goods and outward appearance! 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the Most Merciful prolong his life span until they see that which they were threatened, be it a punishment, or the Hour. Then shall they know whose is the worst place and who is weaker in hosts' 75 (On the contrary), Allah increases in guidance those who follow the Right Way. Lasting acts of righteousness are better in the sight of your Lord as reward and conducive to a better end. 76 Have you seen him who denies Our revelations, and says: "I will certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Has he gained knowledge of the unseen, or made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah? 78 Nay, but We shall record that which he saith and prolong for him a span of torment. 79 and We shall inherit from him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 And they have chosen (other) gods beside Allah that they may be a power for them. 81 But nay! [On Judgment Day] these [very objects of adoration] will disavow the worship that was paid to them, and will turn against those [who had worshipped them]! 82
