Man asks, "When I am once dead, shall I be raised to life?" 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 By thy Lord, then, We shall surely gather them and the satans; thereafter We shall surely bring them round Hell, kneeling. 68 from every party We will pluck out whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the Most Merciful. 69 Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein. 70 There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell); this is with your Lord; a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 And once again: We shall save [from hell] those who have been conscious of Us; but We shall leave in it the evildoers, on their knees. 72 And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, those who disbelieve (the rich and strong among the pagans of Quraish who live a life of luxury) say to those who believe (the weak, poor companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW who have a hard life): "Which of the two groups (i.e. believers and disbelievers) is best in (point of) position and as regards station (place of council for consultation)." 73 How many a generation have We destroyed before them, who were more imposing in respect of gear and outward seeming! 74 Say: As for him who remains in error, the Beneficent Allah will surely prolong his length of days, until they see what they were threatened with, either the punishment or the hour; then they shall know who is in more evil plight and weaker in forces 75 Allah will increase those who were guided in guidance and things that abide. Good deeds are better in reward with your Lord, and, better in return. 76 So have you seen him who denied Our signs and says, “I shall certainly be given wealth and children?” 77 What, has he observed the Unseen, or taken a covenant with the All-merciful? 78 Indeed not. We shall record what he says and shall prolong the punishment for him. 79 We shall inherit all that he boasts of, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worshipping them, and they shall be adversaries to them. 82
