Man asks, "When I am once dead, shall I be raised to life?" 66 Does he not remember that We created him when he did not exist? 67 So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees. 68 We shall then pick out from every group the one who was most arrogant towards the Most Gracious. 69 We know best who deserve to be burnt in (the Fire). 70 Not one of you there is, but he shall go down to it; that for thy Lord is a thing decreed, determined. 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, those who disbelieve (the rich and strong among the pagans of Quraish who live a life of luxury) say to those who believe (the weak, poor companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW who have a hard life): "Which of the two groups (i.e. believers and disbelievers) is best in (point of) position and as regards station (place of council for consultation)." 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance? 74 Say: "If any men go astray, (Allah) Most Gracious extends (the rope) to them, until, when they see the warning of Allah (being fulfilled) - either in punishment or in (the approach of) the Hour,- they will at length realise who is worst in position, and (who) weakest in forces! 75 Allah will increase those who were guided in guidance and things that abide. Good deeds are better in reward with your Lord, and, better in return. 76 Hast thou observed him who disbelieveth in Our signs and saith: surely I shall be vouchsafed riches and children. 77 Has he peeped into the Unknown, or obtained a promise from Ar-Rahman? 78 By no means! We shall write down all what he says; and We shall greatly prolong his chastisement, 79 We shall inherit all that he boasts of, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 They have taken other gods instead of Allah that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 Nay, but they (the so-called gods) will deny their worship of them, and become opponents to them (on the Day of Resurrection). 82
