Yet man says: "When I am dead, will I come to life again?" 66 Does man not remember that We created him before when he was nothing? 67 Now, by thy Lord, We shall surely muster them, and the Satans, then We shall parade them about Gehenna hobbling on their knees. 68 and thereupon We shall, indeed, draw forth from every group [of sinners] the ones that had been most determined in their disdainful rebellion against the Most Gracious: 69 Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein. 70 Not one of you but will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 When Our lucid revelations are read out to them, the infidels say to those who believe: "Which of the two groups is better in standing, and whose company is more excellent?" 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before these, who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance? 74 Say: "As for him who lives in error, may the Most Gracious lengthen the span of his life! [And let them say whatever they say until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned - whether it be suffering [in this world] or [at the coming of] the Last Hour - for then they will understand which [of the two kinds of man] was worse in station and weaker in resources! 75 And Allah will increase the guidance for those who have received guidance; and good deeds that remain have the best reward before your Lord, and the best outcome. 76 Note the words of the disbeliever, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Has he seen the Hidden, or has he made a pact with the Most Gracious? 78 On the contrary, We will write down what he says and prolong the length of his punishment. 79 All that he speaks of will belong to Us, and he will come into Our presence all alone. 80 And they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that they would be for them [a source of] honor. 81 Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. 82
