WITH ALL THIS, man [often] says, "What! Once I am dead, shall I again be brought forth alive?" 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell. 68 Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence. 69 Moreover, We well know those who most deserve to be burned in hell. 70 Not one of you there is, but he shall go down to it; that for thy Lord is a thing decreed, determined. 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 And when Our manifest revelations are rehearsed unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: which of the two portions is better in station and goodlier in company? 73 How many generations that had far more wealth and ostentation have We laid low before them! 74 Say: "The Most Compassionate Lord grants respite to those who stray into error, until they behold what they had been threatened with, either God's chastisement (in the world) or the Hour (of Resurrection)" - then they fully know whose station is worse, and who is weaker in hosts! 75 And Allah increases in guidance those who go aright; and ever-abiding good works are with your Lord best in recompense and best in yielding fruit. 76 Have you seen him who denies the truth in Our revelations and says, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Has he gained knowledge of the unseen, or made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah? 78 No! We will record what he says and extend for him from the punishment extensively. 79 and We shall inherit all the resources and hosts of which he boasts, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 And they have taken to them other gods apart from God, that they might be for them a might. 81 Never; soon they will deny ever worshipping them, and will turn into their opponents. 82
