The human being says, "Shall I be brought to life again after I will die?" 66 Does man not remember that before We created him he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We shall gather them and the devils together, then bring them crawling on their knees around Hell. 68 We shall then pick out from every group the one who was most arrogant towards the Most Gracious. 69 then We shall know very well those most deserving to burn there. 70 There is not one of you but shall pass by Hell. This is a decree which your Lord will fulfil. 71 Then We shall save those who use to fear Allah and were dutiful to Him. And We shall leave the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) therein (humbled) to their knees (in Hell). 72 AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: "Which of the two kinds of man is in a stronger position and superior as a community?" 73 And how many of the generations have We destroyed before them who were better in respect of goods and outward appearance! 74 Say: "As for him who lives in error, may the Most Gracious lengthen the span of his life! [And let them say whatever they say until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned - whether it be suffering [in this world] or [at the coming of] the Last Hour - for then they will understand which [of the two kinds of man] was worse in station and weaker in resources! 75 And Allah increases in guidance those who go aright; and ever-abiding good works are with your Lord best in recompense and best in yielding fruit. 76 Hast thou then seen the (sort of) man who rejects Our Signs, yet says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Has he gained knowledge of the unseen, or made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah? 78 No, indeed! We shall assuredly write down all that he says, and We shall prolong for him the chastisement; 79 To Us shall return all that he talks of and he shall appear before Us bare and alone. 80 And they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that they would be for them [a source of] honor. 81 Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. 82
