Man asks, "When I am once dead, shall I be raised to life?" 66 Does man not remember that before We created him he was nothing? 67 Now, by thy Lord, We shall surely muster them, and the Satans, then We shall parade them about Gehenna hobbling on their knees. 68 Then We will separate from every group those who were strongly rebellious against the Beneficent God. 69 We surely know best those most deserving of the fires of hell, 70 And not one of you but shall pass over it: it is for thy Lord an ordinance decreed. 71 But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees. 72 When Our signs are recited to them as clear signs, the unbelievers say to the believers, 'Which of the two parties is better in station, fairer in assembly?' 73 We have destroyed so many generations before them, who surpassed them in material power and splendour. 74 Say, "The Gracious One grants respite for a time to those who are in error until, when they are confronted with what they are promised, either in punishment [in the world] or in [the approach of] the Hour, they will realize who is worse in respect of position and who is weaker in resources." 75 "And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return." 76 Note the words of the disbeliever, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Hath he perused the Unseen, or hath he made a pact with the Beneficent? 78 By no means! We shall write down all what he says; and We shall greatly prolong his chastisement, 79 And We will inherit of him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 They have taken other gods apart from God that they might be a strength to them. 81 Never; soon they will deny ever worshipping them, and will turn into their opponents. 82
