And says man: What! when I am dead shall I truly be brought forth alive? 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing? 67 By thy Lord, then, We shall surely gather them and the satans; thereafter We shall surely bring them round Hell, kneeling. 68 Then We will most certainly draw forth from every sect of them him who is most exorbitantly rebellious against the Beneficent Allah. 69 and then We shall know well all those most worthy to be cast in Hell. 70 There is not one of you but shall pass by Hell. This is a decree which your Lord will fulfil. 71 But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees. 72 And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Which of [our] two parties is best in position and best in association?" 73 And yet, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [people] who surpassed them in material power and in outward show! 74 Say: As for him who is in error, the Beneficent will verily prolong his span of life until, when they behold that which they were promised, whether it be punishment (in the world), or the Hour (of doom), they will know who is worse in position and who is weaker as an army. 75 And God endows those who avail themselves of [His] guidance with an ever-deeper consciousness of the right way; and good deeds, the fruit whereof endures forever, are, in thy Sustainer's sight, of far greater merit [than any worldly goods,] and yield far better returns. 76 Have you, then, seen him who disbelieves in Our communications and says: I shall certainly be given wealth and children? 77 Has he looked to the unseen, or has he made a pledge to the Merciful One? 78 Never; We shall now record what he says and give him a prolonged punishment. 79 We shall inherit all that he boasts of, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 They have sought honor from other gods instead of God. 81 By no means! anon they shall deny their worship, and become unto them an adversary. 82
