And says man, “When I am dead, will I soon be brought forth alive?” 66 Does he not remember that We created him when he did not exist? 67 By your Lord, We shall gather them and the devils together, then bring them crawling on their knees around Hell. 68 Then We will most certainly draw forth from every sect of them him who is most exorbitantly rebellious against the Beneficent Allah. 69 Then surely it is We who are the Best Knower of these worthiest of being therein roasted. 70 And there is none among you who shall not pass over hell; this is an obligatory affair, binding upon your Lord. (Allah will make everyone pass over the back of hell – on a thin bridge.) 71 But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees. 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before these, who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance? 74 Say, "The Gracious One grants respite for a time to those who are in error until, when they are confronted with what they are promised, either in punishment [in the world] or in [the approach of] the Hour, they will realize who is worse in respect of position and who is weaker in resources." 75 And Allah increaseth in guidance those who let themselves be guided, and the righteous works that last are excellent with thy Lord in respect of reward and excellent in respect of return. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 Has he gained knowledge of the Unseen? Or taken a covenant with the Merciful? 78 No, indeed! We shall assuredly write down all that he says, and We shall prolong for him the chastisement; 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he will come unto Us, alone (without his wealth and children). 80 And they have taken to them other gods apart from God, that they might be for them a might. 81 No! Those "gods" will deny their worship of them and will be against them opponents [on the Day of Judgement]. 82
