And says man, “When I am dead, will I soon be brought forth alive?” 66 Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell; 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein. 70 There is not one of you but shall pass by Hell. This is a decree which your Lord will fulfil. 71 Then, We will save those who were cautious of Us, but the harmdoers shall be left there hobbling on their knees. 72 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, the disbelievers say to the Muslims, “Which group has a better home, and a better alliance?” 73 How numerous are the peoples We destroyed before them - those that were more resourceful and grander in outward appearance! 74 Say: "As for him who lives in error, may the Most Gracious lengthen the span of his life! [And let them say whatever they say until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned - whether it be suffering [in this world] or [at the coming of] the Last Hour - for then they will understand which [of the two kinds of man] was worse in station and weaker in resources! 75 And God shall increase those who were guided in guidance; and the abiding things, the deeds of righteousness, are better with thy Lord in reward, and better in return 76 Have you seen him who rejected Our signs and said: "Surely I shall continue to be favoured with riches and children." 77 Hath he looked unto the Unseen, or hath he taken of the Compassionate a covenant? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall add and add to his punishment. 79 and divest him of all that he is [now] speaking of: for [on Judgment Day] he will appear before Us in a lonely state. 80 And they have chosen Gods besides Allah, so that they may provide them strength! 81 Nay, but they (the so-called gods) will deny their worship of them, and become opponents to them (on the Day of Resurrection). 82
