The human says: 'What, when I am dead, shall I be raised to life?' 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We shall most surely gather them and the devils too; and bring them close to hell on their knees. 68 Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence. 69 We know best who deserve to be burnt in (the Fire). 70 And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed. 71 Then We shall deliver those that were godfearing; and the evildoers We shall leave there, hobbling on their knees. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to them, those who deny the truth say to the faithful, "Which of the two sides is better in respect of position and makes a more impressive assembly?" 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before these, who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance? 74 (Muhammad), tell them, "The Beneficent God gives respite to those who have gone astray only until they face the torment with which they were threatened or to the Day of Judgment. Then they will find out who will have the most miserable place and the weakest forces. 75 God increases His guidance to those who follow guidance; and lasting good works are better in the sight of your Lord and are most rewarding. 76 Hast thou observed him who disbelieveth in Our signs and saith: surely I shall be vouchsafed riches and children. 77 Has he known the unseen or has he taken a covenant from the Most Beneficent (Allah)? 78 By no means! We shall write down that which he saith; and We shall lengthen for him of the torment a length. 79 We shall inherit all that he boasts of, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 And they have taken (for worship) aliha (gods) besides Allah, that they might give them honour, power and glory (and also protect them from Allah's Punishment etc.). 81 Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. 82
