Man says, 'What, when I am dead shall I then be brought forth alive?' 66 Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord, surely, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Shayatin (devils) (with them), then We shall bring them round Hell on their knees. 68 Then shall We certainly drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against (Allah) Most Gracious. 69 Moreover, We well know those who most deserve to be burned in hell. 70 And not one of you but shall pass over it: it is for thy Lord an ordinance decreed. 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 And when Our clear communications are recited to them, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Which of the two parties is best in abiding and best in assembly? 73 And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance? 74 Say thou: whosoever is in error - surely unto him the Compassionate lengtheneth a length, until when they behold that wherewith they were threatened, either the torment or the Hour, then they shall come to know whosoever is worse in position and weaker as an army. 75 (On the contrary), Allah increases in guidance those who follow the Right Way. Lasting acts of righteousness are better in the sight of your Lord as reward and conducive to a better end. 76 Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?" 77 Has he gained knowledge of the unseen, or made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah? 78 By no means! We shall write down that which he saith; and We shall lengthen for him of the torment a length. 79 To Us shall return all that he talks of and he shall appear before Us bare and alone. 80 And they have chosen Gods besides Allah, so that they may provide them strength! 81 Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. 82
