And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 Does he not remember that We created him when he did not exist? 67 So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees. 68 Then shall We certainly drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against (Allah) Most Gracious. 69 Then surely it is We who are the Best Knower of these worthiest of being therein roasted. 70 There is not one of you but shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord. 71 We shall deliver those who took heed for themselves, and leave the evil-doers kneeling there. 72 AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: "Which of the two kinds of man is in a stronger position and superior as a community?" 73 And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance? 74 (Muhammad), tell them, "The Beneficent God gives respite to those who have gone astray only until they face the torment with which they were threatened or to the Day of Judgment. Then they will find out who will have the most miserable place and the weakest forces. 75 And Allah increaseth in guidance those who let themselves be guided, and the righteous works that last are excellent with thy Lord in respect of reward and excellent in respect of return. 76 Have you seen him who rejected Our signs and said: "Surely I shall continue to be favoured with riches and children." 77 Has he obtained knowledge of the Unseen, or has he taken a covenant with the Most Compassionate Lord? 78 On the contrary, We will write down what he says and prolong the length of his punishment. 79 and divest him of all that he is [now] speaking of: for [on Judgment Day] he will appear before Us in a lonely state. 80 And they have chosen Gods besides Allah, so that they may provide them strength! 81 Indeed no! They will renounce their worship and turn against them. 82
