The human says: 'What, when I am dead, shall I be raised to life?' 66 Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees. 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 then We shall know very well those most deserving to burn there. 70 There is not one of you but shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord. 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, those who disbelieve (the rich and strong among the pagans of Quraish who live a life of luxury) say to those who believe (the weak, poor companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW who have a hard life): "Which of the two groups (i.e. believers and disbelievers) is best in (point of) position and as regards station (place of council for consultation)." 73 And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance? 74 Say, "Whoever is in error - let the Most Merciful extend for him an extension [in wealth and time] until, when they see that which they were promised - either punishment [in this world] or the Hour [of resurrection] - they will come to know who is worst in position and weaker in soldiers." 75 God gives greater guidance to those who are guided; and good deeds that endure are better with your Lord for reward, and better for consequence. 76 Have you, then, seen him who disbelieves in Our communications and says: I shall certainly be given wealth and children? 77 What, has he observed the Unseen, or taken a covenant with the All-merciful? 78 Never so. We shall certainly write down what he says, and prolong the extent of his punishment. 79 We shall inherit all that he boasts of, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 And they have taken (for worship) aliha (gods) besides Allah, that they might give them honour, power and glory (and also protect them from Allah's Punishment etc.). 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worship and shall become their adversaries instead. 82
