Do you not see that We have sent devils upon the unbelievers who greatly incite them (to oppose the Truth)? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only counting against them a counting. 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son. 88 Surely, you have brought a monstrous thing! 89 Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down 90 That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 All that is in the heavens and the earth will return to the Beneficent God as His submissive servants. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 Every one of them shall come to Him upon the Day of Resurrection, all alone. 95 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good deeds for them will Allah bring about love. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
