Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So make no haste against them (O Muhammad). We do but number unto them a sum (of days). 84 On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation 85 And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty. 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 And they say: the Compassionate hath taken a son. 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son. 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 Verily those who believe and do righteous works - anon the Compassionate shall appoint for them affection. 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
