ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (in seeking a scourge against them). We are counting their days. 84 On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation 85 And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty. 86 None will have [power of] intercession except he who had taken from the Most Merciful a covenant. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing 89 The heavens are close to being torn apart by it, and the earth being split asunder, and the mountains succumbing and falling down. 90 at their ascribing a son to the Most Compassionate Lord. 91 And it is not worthy of the Beneficent Allah that He should take (to Himself) a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and earth except he comes to the Merciful as a worshiper. 93 He has indeed counted them, and He has numbered them exactly. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender). 95 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good deeds for them will Allah bring about love. 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
