Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 So, do not be hasty with them. We are counting their number (of days). 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 Verily He encompasses them and has counted them all. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 We have therefore made this Qur’an easy upon your tongue, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to announce glad tidings with it to those who fear, and warn those who are quarrelsome. 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
