ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 The Day shall soon come when We shall bring together the God-fearing to the Most Compassionate Lord, as honoured guests; 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son. 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. 91 and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son. 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people. 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
