See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 And We shall drive the Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, etc.) to Hell, in a thirsty state (like a thirsty herd driven down to water), 86 None will have power to intercede for them except one who obtains a promise from Ar-Rahman. 87 And they say: The Beneficent Allah has taken (to Himself) a son. 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 The heavens are close to being torn apart by it, and the earth being split asunder, and the mountains succumbing and falling down. 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 It is not for the Merciful to take a son! 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 VERILY, those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds will the Most Gracious endow with love: 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
