Hast thou not seen how We sent the Satans against the unbelievers, to prick them? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 On the day when We shall assemble the righteous towards the Most Gracious, as guests. 85 And We shall drive the Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, etc.) to Hell, in a thirsty state (like a thirsty herd driven down to water), 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 each one of them shall come to Him one by one on the Day of Judgement. 95 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good deeds for them will Allah bring about love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
