Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 On the day that We shall muster the godfearing to the All-merciful with pomp 85 And shall drive the culprits to Hell as a herd. 86 They shall not control intercession, save he who has made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah. 87 They have said that the Beneficent God has given birth to a son. 88 You have uttered a grievous thing 89 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent Allah as a servant. 93 indeed, He has full cognizance of them, and has numbered them with [unfailing] numbering; 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – the Most Gracious will appoint love for them. (In the hearts of other believers.) 96 So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
