Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours, 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 And they say: the Compassionate hath taken a son. 88 You have uttered a grievous thing 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 And it behoveth not the Compassionate that he should take a son. 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 Everyone on the Day of Judgment will individually come into the presence of God. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 We have made it [the Quran] easy, in your own language [Prophet], so that you may convey glad news to the righteous and give warning to a stubborn people. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
