See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 Therefore be not in haste against them, We only number out to them a number (of days). 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 no one will be able to intercede for the others except those whom the Beneficent God has given authority. 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 Surely, you have brought a monstrous thing! 89 Which would cleave the skies asunder, rend the earth, and split the mountains, 90 at their ascribing a son to the Most Compassionate Lord. 91 But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children). 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 We have made it easy in your own tongue in order that you proclaim the glad tidings to the cautious and give warning to a stubborn nation. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
