Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only counting against them a counting. 84 On the Day whereon We shall gather the God-feaing unto the Compassionate as an embassy. 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 They shall not control intercession, save he who has made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah. 87 They have said that the Beneficent God has given birth to a son. 88 You have indeed brought an extremely grave speech! 89 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 90 That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Surely Ar-Rahman will show love for those who believe and do the right. 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 And many a generation We did destroy before them; do you see any one of them or hear their faintest sound? 98
