Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 So take no hasty action against them; their days are numbered. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 None will have power to intercede for them except one who obtains a promise from Ar-Rahman. 87 They claim: "The Most Compassionate Lord has taken a son to Himself." 88 Assuredly ye have brought a thing monstrous. 89 The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son, 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 All those who are in the heavens and the earth will come to the Most Gracious as His bondmen. 93 Verily He encompasses them and has counted them all. 94 Every one of them shall come to Him upon the Day of Resurrection, all alone. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue that thou mayest bear good tidings thereby to the godfearing, and warn a people stubborn. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
