ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 So make no haste against them, for We but count out to them a (limited) number (of days). 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 and the criminals will be driven and thrown into hell, 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from (Allah) Most Gracious. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 You have uttered a grievous thing 89 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 90 That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son, 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant: 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 VERILY, those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds will the Most Gracious endow with love: 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
