Have you not seen how We send down to the unbelievers satans who prick them? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 88 Indeed, [by this assertion] you have brought forth something monstrous, 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 When it does not behove the Merciful to have a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent Allah as a servant. 93 He has counted and enumerated them one by one. 94 On the Day of Resurrection each one of these will come to Him singly. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue that thou mayest bear good tidings thereby to the godfearing, and warn a people stubborn. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
