Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (in seeking a scourge against them). We are counting their days. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 no one will be able to intercede for the others except those whom the Beneficent God has given authority. 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 Indeed, [by this assertion] you have brought forth something monstrous, 89 Whereby almost the heavens are torn, and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 that they have attributed to the All-merciful a son; 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 How many generations living before them did We destroy? Do you find anyone of them around or do you even hear any word from them? 98
