Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 The Day shall soon come when We shall bring together the God-fearing to the Most Compassionate Lord, as honoured guests; 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 They claim: "The Most Compassionate Lord has taken a son to Himself." 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 Well-nigh the heavens are rent thereat and the earth cleft in sunder and the mountains fall down in pieces. 90 to ascribe a son to the Beneficent God. 91 But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children). 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection. 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
