See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 Which would cleave the skies asunder, rend the earth, and split the mountains, 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 Assuredly He hath comprehended them and counted them a full counting. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection. 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
