ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 So make no haste against them, for We but count out to them a (limited) number (of days). 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 This is certainly a monstrous lie! 89 Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant: 93 indeed, He has full cognizance of them, and has numbered them with [unfailing] numbering; 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection. 96 (Muhammad), We have given you the Book (the Quran) in your own language so that you could easily give the glad news to the pious ones and warn the quarrelsome ones. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
