Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from (Allah) Most Gracious. 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 Surely you have made a monstrous statement. 89 Well-nigh the heavens are rent thereat and the earth cleft in sunder and the mountains fall down in pieces. 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 although it is inconceivable that the Most Gracious should take unto Himself a son! 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 Verily He encompasses them and has counted them all. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
