Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 The Day shall soon come when We shall bring together the God-fearing to the Most Compassionate Lord, as honoured guests; 85 And We shall drive the Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, etc.) to Hell, in a thirsty state (like a thirsty herd driven down to water), 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
