ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins). 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 None will have power to intercede for them except one who obtains a promise from Ar-Rahman. 87 They say: "God has begotten a son." 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That men should ascribe a son to the Most Gracious, 91 But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children). 92 All those who are in the heavens and the earth will come to the Most Gracious as His bondmen. 93 He has indeed counted them, and He has numbered them exactly. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 We have therefore made this Qur’an easy upon your tongue, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to announce glad tidings with it to those who fear, and warn those who are quarrelsome. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
