Hast thou not seen how We sent the Satans against the unbelievers, to prick them? 83 So make no haste against them (O Muhammad). We do but number unto them a sum (of days). 84 On the Day whereon We shall gather the God-feaing unto the Compassionate as an embassy. 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant. 93 He has counted and enumerated them one by one. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW)] and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Beneficent (Allah) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers). 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Do you see any one of them or hear a sound of them? 98
