Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (things) against them, for We count out to them a number, 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 And drive the wicked into Hell like cattle driven to water, 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say: The Beneficent hath taken unto Himself a son. 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 And it behoveth not the Compassionate that he should take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. 93 Verily He encompasses them and has counted them all. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender). 95 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection. 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
