Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 and the criminals will be driven and thrown into hell, 86 None will have power to intercede for them except one who obtains a promise from Ar-Rahman. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah. 91 When it is not meet for (the Majesty of) the Beneficent that He should choose a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and earth except he comes to the Merciful as a worshiper. 93 He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. 94 On the Day of Resurrection each one of these will come to Him singly. 95 Surely Ar-Rahman will show love for those who believe and do the right. 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 And many a generation We did destroy before them; do you see any one of them or hear their faintest sound? 98
