ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 The Day shall soon come when We shall bring together the God-fearing to the Most Compassionate Lord, as honoured guests; 85 And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty. 86 no one will be able to intercede for the others except those whom the Beneficent God has given authority. 87 And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son. 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 All that is in the heavens and the earth will return to the Beneficent God as His submissive servants. 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 and each one shall come to Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 So, [O Muhammad], We have only made Qur'an easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Do you see any one of them or hear a sound of them? 98
