Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to [evil] with [constant] incitement? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only counting against them a counting. 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 None will have power to intercede for them except one who obtains a promise from Ar-Rahman. 87 And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son. 88 You have indeed brought an extremely grave speech! 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant. 93 Assuredly He hath comprehended them and counted them a full counting. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
